About iC Enterprise 1

The iC Enterprise 1 building resides within the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus. It is situated in a beautiful coastal environment on a 33-hectare site.

Opening in 2011, this A Grade site is designed and built to state-of-the-art sustainable building principles, with a 5 star base building energy NABERS rating and innovative design features for high energy efficiency.

Designed by architect Bates Smart, the 10,000sqm building features a central atrium that integrates workplace and educational environments with social and retail facilities in a landscaped campus setting.

The building’s sway frame structure minimises the need for structural walls on the floor, providing maximum floor space and flexibility for tenants.

In-house amenities include a conference and function centre, a cafe, two coffee outlets, a fitness centre, child care services, cycle-friendly amenities and secure parking.

Building occupants include international technology companies Pactera, Telecommunication Systems Inc and Tickets.com, South32 Illawarra Coal, Joy Global, the Cancer Council NSW and UOW public health research institute the Australian Health Services Research Institute.

The building is close to many fantastic facilities. The pristine sands of North Wollongong Beach is a mere 3 minute drive, and the Wollongong Central Shopping Centre in a 6 minute drive.

Sensational dining close by include Harbourfront Restaurant, Bardardi’s on Crown and Rookie Eatery, as well as the WIN Entertainment Centre. Wollongong Hospital is also a 7 minute drive from the iC Enterprise 1 building.
